Equine therapy programme for children with ASD in Baix Llobregat
With ISTEA Association

For the fifth consecutive year, we are collaborating with the ISTEA Association on a programme developed and endorsed by a team of volunteer psychologists specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our work involves responding to the growing demand from families with children with ASD, encouraging their awareness, participation, and development. During the 2024–2025 school year, 1,020 equine therapy sessions are being held, incorporating play-based activities that support the children’s social integration. This year, 60 children aged between 3 and 14 will benefit. Many of these families face precarious circumstances and lack the necessary resources to provide specialised care for their children.

Providing food for the solidarity economato in Barcelona
With Roure Foundation

Since 2022, the demand for food from families referred by Social Services and other entities has risen by 18%, without public resources being able to adequately meet it. Affected families are often single-parent households, with both parents unemployed or in extremely vulnerable situations. Roure Foundation, based in the old town of Barcelona, provides comprehensive and personalised care to the elderly and families. For the seventh consecutive year, we are supporting this work by purchasing dairy products over six months, ensuring the continuity of the Solidarity Economato, which in 2024 benefits 394 children aged 0 to 16.

Social support for children from single-mother families in Barcelona
With Teresa Gallifa Foundation

49% of single-mother families in Spain struggle to make ends meet, and this figure increases when there is more than one child. Many of these women come from backgrounds involving violence and require comprehensive support—legal, emotional, and basic necessities for their children. For the fifth consecutive year, we are working with the Teresa Gallifa Foundation to promote the social inclusion of pregnant women and single mothers. This project meets the needs of 136 children under six in situations of extreme vulnerability by providing baby formula, cereals, baby food, nappies, hygiene products, and recommended but non-subsidised vaccines.

Healthy nutrition for children with multiple disabilities in Barcelona
With Nexe Foundation

School meal scholarships: “Paco’s Tuesdays” in Madrid
With Social Gastronomy Foundation Delegation

For the first time, we are collaborating with the Social Gastronomy Foundation Delegation in the La Concepción neighbourhood of Madrid to ensure adequate nutrition for children in vulnerable situations. For many of them, the school lunch is their main daily meal, but not all families can access full meal scholarships. The project “Paco’s Tuesdays”, in honour of our dear President and Founder Francisco García, offers a space where these children can receive a healthy and balanced meal, replicating the atmosphere of a home-cooked meal. During the 2024–2025 school year, the programme serves 65 children aged 3 to 14 every Tuesday in two shifts. This initiative not only improves their nutrition but also brings peace of mind and support to their families.
