Equine therapy programme for children with ASD in Baix Llobregat
With ISTEA Association

For the past six years, we have been working alongside the ISTEA Association on a programme designed and endorsed by a team of psychologists specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who volunteer their time in the Baix Llobregat area. Our support focuses on responding to the growing demand from families of children with ASD, promoting their development, independence and social inclusion.

Through recreational activities involving horses, equine-assisted therapy becomes a valuable therapeutic tool that helps improve communication, language skills and social interaction, fostering positive development in a safe and stimulating environment.

During the 2025–2026 academic year, the programme will support 60 children aged between 3 and 14, delivering a total of 1,020 therapy sessions over a period of 10 months.

Due to the specialised nature of these therapies, many families are unable to meet the ongoing costs involved. The Foundation’s support is therefore essential in ensuring that children can access and continue receiving this treatment.

Providing food for the solidarity economato in Barcelona
With Roure Foundation

For the past eight years, we have been working with Fundació Roure in support of the Solidarity Food Store, a project that provides vulnerable families with access to balanced and healthy food in a dignified and welcoming environment.

Unlike other assistance-based models, this food store allows families to choose the products they need themselves, fostering autonomy and encouraging their integration into the local community network. In addition, the project offers comprehensive support that addresses a range of social needs, including access to employment, housing and family-work balance.

During this period, particular emphasis has been placed on child nutrition through the monthly purchase of milk and breakfast cereals, essential staples in children’s diets, ensuring their continued availability at the food store. In a context of growing economic hardship, an increasing number of families are struggling to meet these basic needs.

Throughout 2025, the project will have supported approximately 1,250 people from 500 family units, including around 385 children. In addition, more than 185,000 kilograms of food will have been distributed, helping to improve families’ quality of life and supporting their journey towards greater stability and social inclusion.

Social support for children from single-mother families in Barcelona
With Teresa Gallifa Foundation

For the past six years, we have been working with the Teresa Gallifa Foundation on a project that supports pregnant women and single mothers in vulnerable situations, with the aim of promoting their social inclusion and improving the living conditions of their children.

In addition to meeting basic needs, the project provides comprehensive support to families through psychological assistance, guidance and counselling, helping them to build greater independence and create a more stable future. Many of these women face economic hardship, limited access to essential resources and, in some cases, situations of violence.

During this period, the basic needs of 228 children under the age of six will be met through the provision of essential items such as infant formula, cereals, baby food, nappies, hygiene products and vaccines not covered by the Spanish National Health System.

Healthy nutrition for children with multiple disabilities in Barcelona
With Nexe Foundation

For the past two years, we have been working with NEXE Fundació on a nutrition programme tailored to children with multiple disabilities, with the aim of ensuring that they receive a diet adapted to their specific needs within the educational setting.

Children with multiple disabilities frequently experience swallowing disorders and digestive difficulties, which can lead to nutritional deficiencies, low body weight and other health-related issues. For this reason, the project provides specialised, adapted nutrition that is essential to their well-being and development.

During the 2025–2026 academic year, the programme will benefit 75 children aged between 0 and 6, providing a total of 12,600 adapted meals throughout the year. In addition, it includes workshops and specialised resources designed to improve eating habits and enhance the children’s overall quality of life.

School meal scholarships: “Paco’s Tuesdays” in Madrid
With Social Gastronomy Foundation Delegation

In 2025, we concluded our collaboration with the Social Gastronomy Foundation’s local branch in the La Concepción district of Madrid, a project aimed at ensuring access to adequate nutrition for children in vulnerable situations who do not qualify for full school meal grants.

Through this initiative, children were provided with a weekly meal in a warm and welcoming environment, recreating the atmosphere of a family meal. The programme supported 65 children aged between 3 and 14, referred by local state schools, helping to improve their nutrition, well-being and social support.

Beyond meeting nutritional needs, this space became a source of support and guidance for both the children and their families, offering stability, care and a sense of community in a context of economic hardship.

Compass Project “Paco’s Tuesdays” in Sant Feliu de Llobregat
With Caritas Diocesana

In 2025, we launched a new partnership with Cáritas Diocesana through the Compass Project – “Paco’s Tuesdays”, named in tribute to our beloved President and Founder, Francisco García. This initiative was created to provide educational support and guidance to vulnerable young people outside school hours.

The project offers a safe and supportive environment where adolescents receive academic assistance, develop healthy habits and strengthen their personal and social skills under the guidance of educational professionals. In addition, participants are provided with a balanced meal during each session, helping to meet a basic need for many of the young people involved.

Aimed at adolescents aged 13 to 16 who are experiencing vulnerability, the programme combines three key areas: nutrition, educational support and personal development. By doing so, it promotes independence, responsibility and emotional well-being during a particularly important stage of growth. The programme is delivered in coordination with local social services and educational centres, creating a support network that facilitates the identification and ongoing assistance of young people at risk of social exclusion.
